No. Like all businesses, we look for people with relevant training and or experience but professional certification is not necessary. It would be helpful if you had experience applying for government funding or were familiar with business plans however. We require that you provide a brief summary of your experience.

As a Business Guide, do I get access to the website ?

Yes. The initial $259.95 registration fee includes lifetime access to the business grant and loan information on our website, a $100 dollar value. You will also receive the business plan workbook, the business grant wizard and the "Insider Report." You will also receive 12 months of unlimited client referrals from us. If you wish to continue receiving referrals after the first year, the renewal fee is only $159.95 as we subtract the $100 dollar cost of the lifetime website subscription which was part of the initial fee.

How much should I charge clients you refer to me ?

The standard rate is approximately $60.00 per hr, although you should judge based on the clients financial situation. Some consultants charge a % of the amount of funding obtained. Some require a % up front. It is entirely up to you.

How many referrals can I expect to receive over the 12 month period ?

That depends upon which province(s) you would like to receive referrals from. You may select up to 3 provinces. You can also limit your referrals to a particular indusytry. From our experience the number of referrals fluctuates with the time of year. Remember, you can easily make your investment back on just one referral.

Do I keep all of the money paid to me by the referred client or does a share go to The Business Guide ?

You keep all of the money the client pays you. We only charge you the annual fee for the right to receive referrals from us.
