How often have you heard there are no grants. Well guess what? All of HRSDC's funding is non repayable provided you use it for the purpose it was intended for.
There are several HRDC programs offering financial assistance to business. Remember that contributions from these programs are non-repayable (grants). A description of one of the more popular programs follows.
This program has proven to be very popular. It provides contributions for salary to a maximum of $413.00 per week and can also contribute to overhead and capital costs. The proposed venture must be cost shared between the applicant(s) and the department. The maximum duration of a contract is 52 weeks. Applicants must usually incur costs for which they are reimbursed however advance payments may be issued on a discretionary basis.
